| Profile: | Pioneer German label in electronic music and krautrock, founded in 1972 as a division of Metronome.
The first releases [1001 to 1091] in the 1000 series, as well as 6 releases in the 60.000 series [60.007, 60.008, 60.009, 60.010, 60.019 and 60.031] and one sampler with number 888 had the green brain label. Originals of 1001 to 1055 had a slightly darker green color than the second editions and original editions of 1056 to 1091. Also the first pressings of 1001 to 1055 have "Metronome" written on the label below the Brain logo. If this is text is missing, then the record is a repressing from 1974 or later.
