Dancing Turtle Records is a London based independent label that promotes and produces music from emerging artists around the world. Their commitment to unearthing new styles and sub-genres of music, as well as broadening the audience of more familiar sounds, has created a vibrant base for musicians to showcase their sounds.

The label was set up by Dominic Brown in 2005, and has gone on to produce and release music from artists covering genres including indie-folk, experimental, electronica, leftfield-jazz, dubstep and world. Acts on their roster come from as far afield as Japan, West Papua and Brazil, as well as the freshest new talent in Europe.

The label produces a monthly podcast, available for free download through iTunes, as well as being streamed through the label website. This features a mixture of guest DJ mixes, live in-session performances, spoken word and poetry. In addition to this the label regularly host artist showcase events and benefit nights for a variety of pressure groups and charities, using the power of music to help stimulate positive social change.
