Founded in 1972 by local presenter/DJ/radio personality David Gresham and a then-unknown Mutt Lange, DGR has become South Africa's longest-running independent label, with offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.
The "David Gresham Entertainment Group" also consists of a full promotional/marketing/sales team. Furthermore, it is the country's largest independent publisher and also boasts a separate DVD movie and import division.
