Die Gestalten Verlag is an independent design and media company based in Berlin.

The name provides insight into their philosophy: and "die gestalten" is a German double meaning both "the creatures" and "they create". The company is divided into two subdivisions - the design studio and the "verlag", which translates to publishing house. Since its founding, the design studio and verlag have worked collectively bringing together their strengths and expertise in their specialized fields.

While the design studio specializes in corporate design, DVD conception, motion screen design and web design with a forte in the music industry, the publishing department is firmly dedicated to creating, designing, publishing and distributing books and other media on contemporary visual culture.
