In late 1999 Kevin Energy decided he wanted an outlet for the slower side of his productions. The style of his Freeform production was getting picked up by all sorts of Hard House DJ's but the tempo was too fast for the majority of them. Kevin was also gaining work for underground Hard Trance styled parties in London and at this point Dynamix was born. The style soon gained a big popularity, with a number of the releases becoming dance floor anthems. Dynamix has managed to infuse a charged mixture of Hard House and driving NRG Trance.

May 2005 saw the end of 12" releases on the Dynamix label and the birth of an all new 100% digital version of Kevin Energy's long standing Dynamix Records.
