Always worth to check out and pay attention to the little new labels or newcomer artists, because in plenty cases they're at least good as the big fishes. The Ego Traxx (former Egoist) from Hungary is a prime example for this. The label started around 2003 spring with a massive groundbreaking tribal-tech release called 'Ma Macoosa' EP, and since then they keep this level as well. The labelsound is a solid fusion between tribalistic looptechno and groovy mediterranean sounds, but all of this with the characteristic Ego-flavour. If should say a similar label I'd mention mainly the Superbra, or Isoghi, Earresistible Musick, etc... Each EGO-release supported by a lot of top jocks such as Umek, Carl Cox, Valentino Kanzyani, etc... so it's truly not a looser imprint. Check this label out, Ego Traxx rules!
