As far as I am informed, English Muffin was a New York based label, with HQ in downtown Manhattan. It was a label, which despite its young life, released some very fine electronic obscurities such as Lucky Dragons and Accelere Deck among others. In the time of bootlegs the label was making some of its claim to fame by releasing a mix by Canadian Celine Dion and Icelandic Sigurd Ros, a track which apparently was made by Gamers In Exile and later have been given great airplay at Goodiepal live shows. All in all a remarkably little label with a great history and a very interesting output to awake your curiosity, most of the label’s titles have started to become fairly collectible.
