Chicago-based DJ collective Euphoria formed in '96 to expose the city's up-and-coming house artists. Euphoria later morphed into an independent label to represent the likes of Omni A.M. and Mark Ambrose (Crayon Records).
Since 1996 Euphoria Records has been synonymous with the real tech-house underground in America. From their first days, Euphoria was as one of the original supporters of tech-house in Chicago until its emergence as an internationally respected label.
Euphoria Records, started by Omni A.M. (Adam Collins & Marky Star) was based on Euphoria events thrown throught out Chicago between 1996/2000.
Euphoria Records and its artists are still active. Euphoria currently releases in digital format and will offer its back catalog for release in 2007.
