Run by Richard E who is one half of Solar Apple Quarktette plus studio whiz Mr Christy. SAQ began life as a nine-piece live outfit back in the early 90's, but due to life's interventions worked down to the crucial two.

After a few fruitless years of sending demos to unresponsive record labels they decided to take the plunge and start putting out stuff themselves and Further Out Recordings was born. Dedicated to releasing leftfield dance/jazz/electronica and downbeat tracks that push boundaries, but are always musical. Further Out will also release tracks from fellow artists with the same vibe & goals - like Neptune Alpha Base Massive, Cordovan & 2HK - as well as compilations of old style inspirational stuff.
