Future Primitive Sound was a San Francisco based art collective, consisting of an independent record label, visual production crew, painters, photographers, graphic designers, and MCs/spoken word artists. The collective was born out of the concert series "Future Primitive Soundsession", an event that helped to cultivate modern turntablist culture in the Bay Area.

Future Primitive Sound ceased operations in 2006.
