Glacial Movements is a fantastic label that focusses on icey sounding ambient. If you like arctic sculptures, sounds of melting ice water, polar storms or cold northern winds, this is definitely a label to keep an eye on. Especially the Netherworld albums are brilliant with their dark yet comfortable and mysterious atmospheres. The beauty of the label is that Alessandro Tedeschi offers a very diverse range of "cold ambient" interpretations from artists that one wouldn't always connect to this kind of music. It's very interesting to hear artists like Rapoon, Oöphoi or Fransico Lopez in this particular "style" of ambient music. Only Bvdub's releases are out of place because they sound exactly the same as his other albums (no surprise there), but on the other hand Bvdub is a popular artist and it might be a good way to give the label more attention, which it fully deserves. Not to mention that the music on GM is perfect isolation music to get lost in.
