Gramm Records

Gramm Records

Profile:
Icelandic record label started by Ásmundur Jónsson and Einar Örn (of Purrkur Pillnikk [1st release on Gramm], Kukl and, more notably, Sugarcubes fame). Gramm eventually grew into Smekkleysa or Bad Taste, but not before releasing some of the most formidable releases and collectors' gems such as Psychic TV, a tribute cassette for Leonard Cohen, and the aforementioned collaborations of Björk Guðmundsdottir.
