Green Ant is the coming together of a loose collective tribe of Technoshamanistic DJ’s, musicians, Artists, producers and promoters each with a vision of how to create spiritually empowering rituals that awaken the spirit, mind and body. Melbourne based dance label Green Ant was established in 1997 and came into being through the shared vision of its three creators to do something artistic, unique and independent with trance music and psychedelic techno culture. Felix Hamer (Sugar), Eugene Gaffney (Krusty) and Frank Venuto decided to establish a respected outlet for their own and other artists’ creations, drawing upon their own talents and the resources of the underground community.
