After the death of Syd Nathan the empire of King labels finally came to the hands of Gusto. With the exception of the James Brown back catalog, many of the King label's artists are now reissued under the Gusto imprint, including;

King, Queen, Federal, DeLuxe, Starday, TeeVee, Musicor, Good Time, Dynamo, SOR Step One, Springboard, Audio Lab, Chart, Little DriveIn, Country Roads, Powerplay, Wand, Fraternity Jimmy Dorsey.
