Review by youthful_implants Jan 13, 2008
Taking over where the shift in tempo from the original old skool hardcore to drum n bass jungle left off and incorporating all the best elements and energy of the original UK rave sound, Hardcore Beats gave birth to a 'true' breakbeat label at 135 bpm.

Fusing the motif of a snycopated breakbeat with the blazing synthesis of multiple oscillators and upfront party arrangements, with fun being the main priority - Hardcore Beats has continued to dominate the breakbeat scene with music full of cheeky unforgettable hooks and dancefloor-destroying basslines.

Having coined the term 'tear-out' head honcho Ollywood has nurtured artistic talent, and given his performers a vehicle to grow into fully fledged DJ superstars who now play all over the world.

With a back-catalogue chock a block with classics and still going strong, and with monthly parties to road-test these future bombs Hardcore Beats continues to be the most bad-assest, funkiest, dangerous, rump-shakin breakbeat label known to mortal man.
