Hudd Traxx was founded in 2005 by Slum Science. Hailing from Huddersfield, England, the team set about uncovering music from the likes of Iz & Diz, Stacy Kidd, JT Donaldson Jason Hodges and Mike Steele, who helped put the label firmly on the map within the first flurry of releases.

The label's thirst for quality output saw greater diversity in the a&r direction over the years, and the Hudd Traxx catalogue also includes work from artists Mihai Popoviciu, Jay Bliss & Toygun, Sascha Dive and Agnes. In 2007 Hudd Traxx began a new venture in the form of sister label 'Smoke City Music' which has seen work from Inland Knights, Kinky Movement and DJ Sneak, alongside featuring artists from the Hudd roster.

Named after their home town, Hudd traxx has strong roots in both Huddersfield and London. Look out for high calibre underground house music releases from both Slum Science and the ever expanding Hudd Traxx roster.
