We are an independent record label comprised of the production crew at the Dubtribe house (Dubtribe Sound System's recording studio), Sunshine & Moonbeam Jones, San Francisco DJ Corey Black, and Finn Campbell-Notman. Imperial DUB was created as an outlet for DJs and artists who would not otherwise have had an opportunity to create songs and tracks that express their personal perspective of underground dance music. Very much like the parties we host in San Francisco and beyond, we simply were not hearing the music we loved so much and decided to make it for ourselves! All the music we produce is the fruit of a collaborative effort. It's this collaboration that defines the Imperial DUB concept, yet only the magic of the moment defines the Imperial DUB sound...
