Influence Recordings was one of the early European labels that had some really good underground Techno & Hard Acid records coming out in the early to mid 90's. Influid was an underground favorite and the Influid 2 E.P. had that "Push The Button, Connect the God-damn dots" sample which was a must have during that era of hardcore techno tracks. Good things came to an end when the label changed up the graphics from the standard black label in a bright green jacket, and even though they had a few good releases on colored vinyl, the buzz faded and people lost interest. The one track I loved was "Kick Back" by The Postman. More Chicago Tracks then anything European, I will always think back to the days when I considered Influence Recordings at the top of the game.
