Reports of poor quality in the pressing of LPs on this label are only anecdotal. Horace Andy's Dub Box is probably the best pressed LP in my collection, and I have heard the 10" vinyl release of the same recording for comparison. Not to sound like a shill but everything I have heard on the Jamaican Recordings label has been first rate in terms of sound quality be it compact disc, 10" vinyl or LP.

Another re-issue label with some wonderful stuff. I would recommend avoiding the LPs as everyone I have ever purchased is trashed. CDs contain extra couple of tracks and 10"s are always perfect.
