Junk

Junk is a new label emanating from the same melting pot of mutant beats and charged sound as the influential South London label Ambush. Set up by Aphasic, now based in the Netherlands, the Junk strategy can be detected in the title of their first four track release. Depending on the tone of voice, the phrase could be taken in several ways. But it does refer to the approach Aphasic has to DJing; constructing sets that use an eclectic range of tempos, styles and beats.
