One of (if not) the most influential hardcore labels of the 90s. Steadily progressed from a mixture of dark breakbeat and hands in the air piano breaks in 1993 to almost exclusively piano-driven breakbeat hardcore in 1994 and 1995. Even after the genre largely morphed into happy hardcore after '95, Kniteforce refused to be left behind and successfully mastered both genres with consistently incredible releases. Almost every release on the label throughout its entire existence was high quality and groundbreaking.

Some of the highlights for me were Force & The Evolution's "Fall Down On Me" EP, Brisk's "Airhead", Luna-C's "Piano Progression" and Jimmy J & Cru-L-T's "Six Days" and "Take Me Away" (plus almost all of the remixes of those tunes).

In a true display of what hardcore's all about, Luna-C recently made the phenomenal move of releasing the entire Kniteforce catalogue digitally for free at the official Kniteforce website. I actually came in my pants right there and then when I found out. Grade A legend material.
