Legend Records (UK)

Profile:
Label set up DJ Gwange, Q Project and Spinback in 1993.

In 1995 DJ Gwange surprisingly quit Legend and due to increasing financial pressure from the labels backer, both Q Project and Spinback decided to shut the label down and set up new label C.I.A. (Computer Integrated Audio).

This label was doing the intelligent drum and bass thing right around the same time as Good Looking and Basement started it. The first releases were really dark stuff but by around number 8 it was all about beatiful atmospheres backed by powerful breaks. Some of the best jungle/drum'n'bass ever.
