Profile:"Machinery Records was founded in winter 89 by Jor. Set up as a new label for electronic music. During that winter Berlin's clublife was changing drastically. Amidst the collapsing 'Mauer', bands like And One & Dance Or Die rediscovered their own German electro-roots. A style of music never really known in the East German territories. So with a small office and two bands we started in the Gropiusstadt suburbs of Berlin, a truly industrial surrounding for an electro-label. Since then Machinery could succesfully establish its position of being one of Europe's leading electro-addresses."
