| Profile: | Mindfield Records was established in 1996 to put forth new signals in the realms of electronic and experimental music. The label is run out of the former industrial hotbed of York, PA - home of the band Live, York Barbell, and Peppermint Patties and started with two idealistic employees - Walt Miller and Paul Chavez. Within a year, their number became one as Paul chased a skirt to the west coast then somehow ended up the president of the chamber of commerce in Los Fresnos, Texas. (a long story) Regardless of his whereabouts, Paul will always be a member of the Mindfield flock, if just in spirit. |
