Native State Records is an independent West Coast ambient and downtempo label specializing in unique and vibrant electronica. Started in 2004 by acclaimed producer Evan Bluetech, Native State emerged with the release of his Elementary Particles EP. A year later it was followed by the Psi-DM compilation Left Coast Liquid Vol. 1, which received strong reviews worldwide.

With a solid release schedule of genre-defying chill out sounds lined up for 2007, Native State continues to expand its search for the cutting edge in comtemporary digital music.

In June of 2007, Native State launched a new netlabel NativeStateDigital to provide direct downloads of their CD catalog as well as launching a series of MP3 only releases.
