Purveyors of fine electronic pop music, Ninthwave records began as the side label for Lexicon Magazine’s in-magazine CD compilations. When Lexicon folded, Ninthwave rose up from the ashes to begin releasing “legit” albums and compilations.
The first official releases were Ganymede’s “After the Fall” and a USA issue of the Swedish band NASA’s “Remembering the Future” both in 2000.
Since then Ninthwave has released over 30 CDs, including albums from Spray, Xero/G, Empire State Human and more, compilations featuring Freezepop, Heaven 17, White Town, The Faint and more, plus tributes to Yaz(oo) and OMD.
