A Finnish company, founded in 1965 by Musiikki-Fazer, a Finnish company that was involved in almost every aspect of the music business in Finland, from songwriting to publishing and to instrument manufacturing. Oy Finnlevy Ab bought Oy Finndisc Ab in 1971 and Scandia Musiikki Oy in 1972, and they both continued under Oy Finnlevy Ab.

Finndisc continued with Oy Finndisc Ab. Oy Finnlevy Ab also owned

In 1993 Warner Music bought the company and many of the former brands were disbanded, but the company still continued under Warner for a while.
