Playboy Records (part of the Playboy Enterprises group) was a pop/country label that had its most successful period after about 1972 with artists like Barbi Benton, Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds, Ivory, and Mickey Gilley.
Apparently it folded in 1978, only to be relaunched as the Playboy Jazz label, now owned by Concord Jazz.
