Founded by West Coast hip-hop/Miami Bass artist Byron Davis and Fresh Krew used to press his solo singles that were literally released from home (pre-production was done in Davis' in-home studio). Players Only became defunct once Byron and Fresh Krew and signed onto 4-Sight Records through the 2 Live Crew's Mr. Mixx.
