President started as a mainstream pop label in the early sixties, making hits with artsits such as The Equals. In the seventies, with the emergence of disco, it was the company that brought the Miami sound to Britain, scoring a string of hits with George McCrae and KC and the Sunshine Band. Over the years the output diversified to include notable releases in practically every style from Rock to Reggae, taking in World Music, New Age, Nostalgia and MOR along the way.
