Pure Substance Records is formed and dedicated to release underground tech house, progressive, breaks and house by new and established artists around the globe.
The label is started late December 2003 by Kenny Wee, who runs an artist management and promotion in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, operating throughout Asia, and DJ / Producer Andrew Karabatzakis (also known as Andrew K / Junk Science) of Greece. The label is created after advisory from respected label owners such as Desyn Masiello (Alternative Route), Piliavin & Zimbardo (Distraekt), Kingkade ‘Alex Buchanan’ (Minimal Records / Dirty Blue) and many more.
Pure Substance Records is all about quality and open minded definition. Combination of atmospheric progressive and other element will be splash towards future releases. Established and upcoming artists signed to the label include Andrew K, Simuck, Snake Sedrick, Thomas Penton, Rouzbeh Delavari, Ozgur Can,The Flash Brothers, Tony Estrada and more in the pipeline. Future projects will include either both original production and remixes from Michael Burns, Matt Samuels, Kasey Taylor, Fitalic and more.

They've never gotten that far in my opinion, simply by keeping quiet and I feel the releases are going downwards regarding quality. It seems demos/track submissions are more often accepted to keep the schedule going. What a shame... All it needed was a little more care.
Time is running out! Labels are drowning. It appears Pure Substance Records might be one of them.
