Based in Kiev, Ukraine (and partly in Zell am See, Austria) Quasi Pop is an independent label, dedicated to open-minded, experimental music in different genres: from lo-fo naive pop to musique concrete, contemporary music, electroacoustic and noise. Quasi Pop is founded in 2001 by producer/artist Edward S. and has released the music of artists such as Volcano The Bear, Mats Gustafsson, KK Null, Family Underground, Lasse Marhaug, Merzbow, Anla Courtis, Our Love Will Destroy The World, Jorgen Knudsen, Naoki Ishida, Biblioteka Prospero, Andreas Brandal, Edward Sol (and many others) since then. Quasi Pop is an artistic open-platform to releasing good music in various kinds (analogue and digital) formats: CDs, vinyl, audio-cassettes, CD-Rs, lathes etc.
