Rhiz Records is a division of Rhiz.
Rhiz is a music bar on the "Gürtel" which is a curve surrounding the western hemisphere of Vienna along with its U-Bahn above and two circular roads beside. In German "Gürtel" means a belt. Historically the semicircle has been an important transportation hub in Vienna as the countless streets through it connecting everywhere inside the city to the core and to the outside extending to all over Western Europe. There are shops, canteens and night clubs along the Gürtel, it used to have been a major red light district. Recently it was given a new birth by the restructuring plan of the Austrian government and the EU, turning it into a district of variety of music bars.
Rhiz is particularly distinguished among them. DJs play all kind of the electric music every night. Many interesting live concerts take place especially during the winter, improvisations and newly composed experimental music are presented.
