"Rocket Racer was launched in the spring of 1997 with two back to back releases (Boyracer & Schrasj 7"s). The idea of the label is to release great music (primarily on the vinyl format), specializing in no particular genre just quality music, but always with an emphasis on art, packaging and limited editions.

Most releases reflect a "hand-made" sort of feel. Whether it's from hand screen prints, potato & rubber stamps, hand numbered editions, glued on attachments, hand-torched or drilled and wired assembled records, they are all enjoyed for their looks and sounds as every record should be."
