Sender Records was founded in 1999 by Benno Blome in Cologne, Germany and has moved to Berlin since then.
The label started off by releasing tracks with dry and funky vapours. It thus stepped into the new century delivering advanced, rocking high-tech dance music with a crisp and existential sound-design. Sender is quickly taking agency for the communication of new talent. Within a short period of time, it has established both artist identities as well as a strong label identity.
Today functional reduction and an innovative, timeless approach reinforce the brand name of Sender Records.

Sender Records is and has always been a very reliable label for Techno and minimal sounds, for the IDM, the intelligent dance music of our time. It has provided it's very own remarkable style and sound that is incomparable in it's kind. The records with their own certain characteristics are great tracks, useful at almost any time of the fiesta and include some great dancefloor tools. The tracks usually provide a dark and pushing atmosphere, exceptional sound effects create their own acoustic world of variety.

The whole sender Philosophy and look is right, great minimal tracks with their own sender sound. The tv tower logo representing the 'sender' thought is nicely done and comes back in every way on the sender website and vinyl All the producers/artists are photographed near such a tower and put in the profiles. The intro on the site is also totally towerinfested. This label transmits a good signal and the sender feeling can easily be received if you like minimal techno..
