Founded by Jason Kaye in 1993. The name Social Circles originated from, as Jason puts it, "all of my business dealings evolved around one large social circle". That early circle brought producers Steve Gurley, Russell Tait, Zed Bias and the Wideboys to the table.
In late 1999, Sticky joined the label after a chance meeting with Jason behind the turntables at Planet K in Manchester.
