The US label
Stupidity Records was based in New York and run by
Billy Nocera from 1992 to 1994. Stupidity Records was specially dedicated to the noise scene and it was the home for Billy Nocera's band
Traci Lords Loves Noise. It started selling cheap tapes with specially US noise acts, and while it was releasing more stuff it was getting more international interest and releasing German, Spanish and Southamerican noise/noisecore bands. In 1994 Billy Nocera stopped with
Stupidity Records and was running
Be A Freak Records until 1998. Nowadays Be A Freak Records is defunct and Billy Nocera is running
Razorback Records.
