It's been seven years that i'm mixing drum'n'bass flavours, from Ram's power basses to Barcode's breaked hard jungle.
There's nothing more atractive and enjoying mixin' that this label. Teebee and (now) K, the owners of Subtitles, had always put new talents upfront the scene of d'n'b floors, showing what Future prophecies, Break, Chris su, Phace, Misantrop and many others can do.
I particulary like this label for the athmospheric sounds they choice to release. Chris su's "Solaris theme" is one of the most beautiful dreaming d'n'b track i ever heard. The "Psycho ep" of Phace is always use in my sessions, combinated with "The legacy" tracks or the "Molehill" hammer from Spor.
Don't miss the next releases of this perfectionist english label. The all productions means respect over here...

Subtitles is my favourite label alongside Teebee as a producer. The heaviest, most stripped down and powerful breaks often fuse alongside spacious sweeping atmospherics, creating music which is truly engaging and brilliant in its execution.

The 'Future Prophecies' are also smashing heavy dubwise styles with 'Miriamba' a cornerstone of tough tech-dub for me in '03.

I'm 30 now and have grown up with Jungle ('Jungle Tekno!') since my teens in London. After all of these years, I'm finding this label is leading with a more mature style compared to many others aimed at the youth, and it's only getting better with each new release.

Big up to Teebee and the crews for their inspired output into '04.

Futuristic atmospheric drum and bass, but unlike the GLR/LGR camps, keeps it sufficiently heavy to move a dancefloor. Looking back over my collection, Subtitles is one of the few labels that I actually pick up most releases from and find interesting production from.
