SPR was founded in 1990 by Lorenz Macke, when the first publications of the synth-pop band De/Vision were made. SPR had the first releases as a label in 1996 and from then on they released a lot of synth-pop, electro-pop and EBM-like CDs. The SPR mailorder also covers similar music from labels around the world.
