Where most Techno artists are out to create a new and futuristic sound, the state of mind of Teknotika is what occurs after every sound has been sounded. In the world of Teknotika, the past, the present, and the future all come together in a musical conglomeration.
The original concept of the label was to merge exotica with techno. The exotica period was in the late '50s and early '60s, and consisted of mostly instrumental music with a lot of percussion. This music served to highlight exotic places and beautiful woman.
The Teknotika Record label is known for it's diversity with styles ranging from Tribal House to electro, and of course techno. We take pride in being a funky and artistically creative label who continue to search for new talent across the globe.
The first release "Bliss" is a Go Girl record (GG01). Gary later changed the label name to Teknotika Records.
