A Chicago label that was founded in 1986 by
Rocky Jones. It was the biggest sublabel of DJ International and released many house classics ("Jack Your Body", "Acid Over", "I Fear The Night", "Work The Box"...).
DJ International’s catalog has been in limbo since the label shut its doors in the early 1990s. In 2007, however, the international rights of its master recordings were licensed for the world to Brookside Records, the label of US music industry veteran Reid Whitelaw. The rights for Europe have been granted to High Fashion Music B.V. in the Netherlands. In the USA, a deal with Phuture Trax Records never came to fruition, and the rights are managed by Ocean Breeze Music Limited Inc and High Fashion Music for Europe.
