Profile:
Underground was a tentacle of Media Records, born in 1989 as pop-house label (catalogue number serie 05). After a lot of big commercial success, the philosophy of label was changed. During the autumn of 1996, infact, Underground was transformed in the 'younger sister' of BXR, one of the most popular italian techno-progressive labels. With a new catalogue number serie, this time 10, and a new logo, Underground re-born with The Test by Mauro Picotto and become a kind of laboratory for a new visions of techno, more experimental and clubby than BXR.
