United Recordings

Profile:
United Recordings started in March 1998 and was founded by Theor Verplancke and Rob Bouhuis together with Marcel Nothdurft and Ton Vermeulen from Vernoth Music. Theor and Rob both gained experience at highly acclaimed Outland Records in Amsterdam. Vernoth Music is well known for its labels Touché and Pssst with artists like Laidback Luke, Jark Prongo, Trancesetters, Basco, Chocolate Puma, Riva and The Good Men.

As of January 2008 United Recordings has sold her Dance catalog to Cloud 9 Dance.

United Recordings now continues to focus on releasing high quality compilation albums such as Supperclub, Wicked Jazz Sounds and Music For Cocktails. As well as developing, managing and releasing music by artists like Bardo State and the Wicked Jazz Sounds Band.

Before moving to Armada Music in 2003, the Armind label was also part of United Recordings.
