Launched in 1991 as a major new label by Japanese electronic giants JVC. Victory Music, which is headed by former top executive at Atlantic Records, Phil Carson, is distributed in the UK and the rest of the world, excluding the USA, by London Records, and in the USA by Polygram Records. Victory Music went bust around late 1994.
European releases distributed by London Records use London Records catalog numbers.
Some US releases use a Polygram catalog number but most use it's own catalog number with this format: "383 480 nnn-f" where "nnn" are the release number starting with 001 and "f" are the format code, 2 for CD, 4 for Cassette.
