The figure representing the 'I' in the label logo is a image of Tommy Smith who represented the U.S.A at the 1968 Mexico City olympics games in the 200m track event.After coming first in his event,as a protest against the pervading racism he received his gold medal barefoot(representing poverty),with beads around his neck(for the victims of slavery and racism).At the playing of the national anthem he gave the raised black glove salute you see in the label image for 'black power'.
