Waveform was generally considered to be the American counterpart of the famous and now defunct "Beyond" label out of the UK, which was exclusively devoted to the "Ambient Dub" movement.
Although Waveform co-incided a lot of the same or similar titles in the beginning, they have evolved and proved themselves to be a legitimate force to be reckoned with in their own right.
They have expanded their catalogue to include Ambient, Trip Hop, Dub, Lounge, and other more cutting edge styles and artists.
For the discerning down-tempo listener, this is an important label to add to your favourites.
