Profile:Digital label Wax Street, based in Atlanta & Philadelphia, United States. Named after the former "WaxStreet" online shop.

In 1999 was launched on Waxstreet.net a cutting edge online record store and DJ shop. After 9/11 the music industry took a vicious turn, and everyone headed for the hills, brick and mortar. Record shops closed down, record sales were at their lowest point, and WaxStreet.net was forced to close its doors in 2003.
