Y records had a brief trading catalogue affair with the legenday 99 records.."stretch/silent dub" was released on 99 records as a 12". Also a subdivision/sister label of Rough Trade Records.

Also home to Pigbag, the ones who made the original song Papa's Got A Brand New Pig Bag in 1981, which Paul Hardcastle remixed to a hit in 1985.
