| Profile: | Mikael Löfgren, the founder of this label started YAGE Rec year 2003 with a little help from his friend Johan. Why, because in Sweden and specially Gothenburg they only played progressive trance and he got tired of it and wanted to change that.
YAGE music style is the same as Mikael, also known as DJ Bröte, plays at parties. Dark/hard night music and also pure full on music with the party energy in it. Since he loves this music, why not start a label and get to release that!?
Pulling the hard load of Yage for some time, Mikael met Stefan & Tias from swedish-mushroom.com. As part owner of the big Swedish community site (over 3000 members) for people in this culture, they had good contacts in the business and also found some interest in joining his crew. And that was the birth of Yage Records.
