Tiny venue somewhere in a medium-sized city in North Germany, spring 1992? There were maybe 50 people there, and they played for like, hours, and totally freaked out! Great time!
San Francisco, ? late '90s. They could not get their gear to run and had to just spin records ... and were amazing. Techno turntablism with double copies, dope.
Multiple times in Oakland, especially '92-'93, once further North (Southern Humboldt?) on a river. I suffered the songs to get the jams ... but Kimock is a star, and it was worth suffering (most of) their songs to get to listen to him capitalize on the jam setting.
The best show musically was in Oakland with Kaiser as guest ... they started with an unchallenging Zero song and Henry seemed a little frustrated. He repeatedly threw out some wild lick with looks at the band ... after several of these the band abandoned its song, leaping into space and holding it furiously out for the rest of the set.
